RBS 'horror story' as UK job cuts top 20,000

The Royal Bank of Scotland have her 3500 jobs a union leader says this is a horror story! Since the banking crisis began the Royal Bank of Scotland has cut approximately 20,600 jobs even though the bank made £1.6 billion profit this in no way makes up the post in their record £24.1 billion loss which was the biggest UK banking loss ever posted, perhaps there is more to come.
In a statement RBS said: "Having to cut jobs is the most difficult part of our work to rebuild RBS and repay taxpayers for their support. We continue to make efficiencies across our business and adjust our plans in line with the divestments we have been required to make by the EU."
The bank said it would do all it can to support its staff, offering other jobs wherever possible and keeping compulsory redundancies to a minimum.
